Arraignments are hearings where the defendant is formally charged and enters a plea of guilty, not guilty, or no contest. Dockets will contain information also found on civil and criminal dockets, including the name of the defendant and victim, case number, and attorney information. However, they will also contain bond information, since the court sets bail during arraignment hearings.

In Cameron County, these dockets can be accessed by visiting the District Court’s website and clicking on the subheading of the individual district. The district court is divided into 103rd, 107th, 138th, 197th, 357th, 404th, 444th, 445th, and 448th District Court sub-section.
